Dr Ngu is an accomplished Consultant Dermatologist based in Glasgow. After completing her medical degree at the University of Edinburgh in 2009, she undertook postgraduate training at major teaching hospitals in Edinburgh, London, and Glasgow. She was appointed as an NHS Consultant within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde in 2017.
Dr Ngu has presented at both national and international conferences and has published widely in peer-reviewed journals. She has held several clinical leadership roles within the NHS and currently serves as lead consultant for complex acne and the West of Scotland skin lymphoma multidisciplinary clinics. She has specialist expertise in complex vulval skin diseases, including experience leading a tertiary vulval clinic. She is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists, the Scottish Dermatological Society, the Scottish Vulval Network, and the UK Cutaneous Lymphoma Group.
Dr Ngu is committed to treating each patient as an individual and recognises the significant impact that skin conditions can have on day-to-day life. She applies her expertise in dermatological diagnosis to develop personalised, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient.
She has extensive experience in managing all aspects of skin disease in both adolescents and adults. Dr Ngu treats a wide range of conditions and performs various dermatological procedures, including those listed below. She does not currently offer skin surgery or cosmetic dermatology within this clinic.
Dr Ngu is multilingual and is fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese, and Malay, which may be particularly helpful for patients who prefer to consult in these languages.
